How Milwaukee Fed America

Join Kyle Cherek, host of PBS's Emmy-award winning Wisconsin Foodie, and acclaimed historian John Gurda as they celebrate Our Global Kitchen at MPM and unlock the past with a one-of-kind dinner event. Five remarkable stories about Milwaukee's ascent from a lush river valley to an industrial powerhouse will be paired with five memorable courses emulating the European cuisines of the time. Tales of ambition, adventure, and fortune will be brought to life at Milwaukee's historic restaurant Karl Ratzsch, featuring the culinary talents of nationally-acclaimed Thomas Hauck.

A Moveable Feast: A Culinary Expedition and Progressive Dinner

Join top Milwaukee area chefs as they exhibit their most creative culinary skills during this one-of-a-kind progressive dinner fundraiser. Each chef designs a dinner course inspired by a Museum diorama of their choice, and guests progress throughout our exhibit halls on a decadent journey from hors d’oeuvres, to salad, to entrée, to dessert, with each course paired with an outstanding wine.

Sensory Exploration Dinner

How do our senses work together to define flavor? What happens to flavors when we toy with these senses?Join Kyle Cherek, host of PBS's Emmy-award winning Wisconsin Foodie, on a sensory exploration of what it means to truly taste. Five innovative courses dedicated to each of the five senses will offer dinner guests a uniquely playful culinary experience. Featuring the innovative molecular gastronomy talents of James Beard Award semi-finalist chef Thomas Hauck, each course will stimulate and manipulate flavor perception, taking guests on an unforgettable sensory adventure.
