Spring Break Camp – Dead Sea Scrolls

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 7
Ages 10-13
$110, $90 for members (per two-day camp)

This fascinating two-day program focuses on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the field of archaeology. Join a real archaeologist on a guided tour of the special exhibition, Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible – Ancient Artifacts Timeless, Treasures. Experiment with ancient writing styles, make your own scrolls, learn how to read archaeological maps like those created while excavating ancient sites, and take an archaeological tour of the museum’s world-famous exhibits.

Spring Break Camp – Rockets

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April 9
Ages 10-13
$110, $90 for members (per two-day camp)

Set sail for the stars at the Museum's new Rocket Camp! Learn the basics of rocketry including Newton’s Laws of Motion. Build rockets from water and air and basic cooking ingredients. Measure your rocket’s altitude. We’ll also explore gravity – a rocket’s number one nemesis!

Campers must bring their own lunch.
Before care is also available for $20 per each two-day camp.

Summer Camps

Immerse your child in natural history, research, and cultural and scientific exhibits and they will learn their way through summer. Add engaging activities, enthusiastic educators, and lots of fun, unique experiences, and you’ll have a summer experience they won’t stop talking about!

How Do I Register?

By phone: You may register by calling our admissions office at 414-278-2728. You will be mailed a confirmation of your registration that will include a copy of our Health Form. It's very important that we receive your child's completed Health Form at least 2 weeks before the start of camp.
