Girl Scout See the World Overnight

Travel the globe to discover styles of dress, dwellings, languages and games. Recognitions: Brownies and Juniors earn an Around the World try-it and World Neighbors badge. (*Note: we provide the badges for girl scouts). Maximum 240 people total.

*MPM staff members are aware of recent changes to Girl Scout badges. Due to the changes in badge themes, this overnight theme may be altered to meet the needs of new badges. Any program alteration would take place in October 2011.

Girl Scout Overnight Packages Include:

  • Overnights are held Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m.
  • Cost is $47 per individual, $37 for members, $42 for groups (15+ booked together, in advance). If your girl scout troop would like to attend a Cleopatra themed overnight, the cost is $52 per individual, $42 for members; $47 for groups (15+ booked together, in advance)
  • Minimum one adult for every five children required. Please note: Due to a National girl scout policy, male chaperones will not be allowed to spend the night during girl scout specific overnights. If you choose to attend a public overnight, the event is open to the public and a variety of groups will be attending and sleeping near you. The sleeping arrangement policy for Girl Scouts will not be adhered to in the same way it would during a Girl Scout specific overnight.
  • Fee includes a planetarium show, program materials, instruction, Museum admission for the following day, evening snack and continental breakfast.
 

How to Register

Begin by downloading our Frequently Asked Questions About Overnights Guide. After you become familiar with our policies, register by calling (414) 278-2714 or (888) 700-9069. Registrations for each date will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the program or until maximum enrollment is reached. Confirmation of registration, directions and event details will be mailed to you. We reserve the right to cancel any event that does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements.

Overnight tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable. Overnight guests are responsible for maintaining the chaperone ratio of one adult for every five children and for ensuring the children in their group meet the age range policy of 6-12 year olds. We cannot make any exceptions to our age range policy. Overnight group/family leaders are responsible for returning their group participant forms four weeks prior to the overnight date.
