SPARK!
SPARK! is a new program for caregivers and loved ones suffering from beginning to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We are pleased to be one of ten Wisconsin museums awarded funding by the Helen Bader Foundation to create such programming.
SPARK! programs feature interactive exhibit experiences in a welcoming environment. Specially trained Museum educators engage participants in lively discussions, object handling and other multi-sensory activities. SPARK! programs also include opportunities to work with other community groups, including the Florentine Opera Company, local artists and the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre.
SPARK! Schedule

SPARK! programs last for one hour, and are followed by a half-hour coffee break hosted by volunteers to give participants and caregivers an opportunity to support and socialize.
