The Climate Change Show
Learn about climate change and positive ways to protect our planet through a spectacular multimedia experience and fun, hands-on exhibits. By use of “object theatre,” a barrage of video, visual and physical special effects, relevant objects and lighting changes, The Climate Change Show presents the serious and complex issues of global warming in a way textbooks never can. Experience a virtual thunderstorm, take a guided video with a talking, animated sheep in rubber boots and learn how our Earth is changing and why.
After the object theater experience, visitors can get up-close-and-personal with science as they visit exhibit kiosks like the One-Ton Challenge, in which visitors get to think about how their own small decisions, such as driving to school vs. riding a bike, lend to greenhouse gas emissions. Other interactive displays round out the experience by showing how scientists use natural objects like tree cookies and ocean coral to learn about past climates, and test your climate change IQ with games like the Energy Quiz.
