Volunteer Opportunities

How to Become a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in helping the Milwaukee Public Museum!

Potential volunteers should download and return the Volunteer Application to the Volunteer Office (address is on application).

Once you've completed this form and returned it to the Volunteer Office, attendance at an interview and attendance at a New Volunteer Orientation are necessary to understand the procedures for entering/leaving the building, finding your way around MPM, and understanding how to record your hours & schedule yourself via the Internet. Training for the volunteer opportunity you've prioritized on the application will take place at a separate session, usually on a different date. (Training for a date-specific event takes place before the event.)
