Members-Only Evenings - Cleopatra

5–9 pm, Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4, 2012

Experience the present-day search for the elusive queen of the Nile and see nearly 150 Egyptian artifacts, from the smallest gold pieces to colossal statues.

Highlights

  • View Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt – Timed ticket entry is every 15 minutes. Last timed entry is at 7:30 p.m. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Member cost: Adult, $15; Senior (60+) and Student (13–17/college ID), $13; Child, $11. Audio tours are included in the cost.
  • Interact with MPM curators and exhibits staff who will be on hand in the exhibition to talk about the artifacts and answer your questions.
  • See the original MPM production: Cleopatra’s Universe. Showtimes in the Planetarium:  4:30, 5:15, 6 and 6:45 pm. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Member cost: $4.
  • Join MPM educators for an interactive exploration of Cleopatra and her time in this 30-minute program: 6, 7 and 8 pm. No registration necessary. Location: Gromme Theater.
  • Learn and play ancient games.
  • New Members:Stop by the Membership Table and pick up a self-guided Highlights Tour of the Museum. Explore the entire museum.

The Museum Cafe and Coffee Kiosk will be open until 7:30 pm with a selection of food and beverages for purchase.

Members Get Discounted Parking

Park in the MacArthur Square garage for $5. Take a ticket upon entering the garage and have it validated at the Tickets windows in the Museum concourse. Note: the MacArthur Square parking garage adjacent to the Museum is an automated facility. Pay at the exits with a credit card or with cash at the Parking Pay Station in Aisle 5 near the garage elevator.
