SPARK! Programs

SPARK! programs are designed for people in the early- to mid-stages of memory loss to visit with their family, caregivers, or group facility.


Families & Care Partners

Family SPARK! programs are offered at 11:00 a.m. and repeated at 2:00 p.m. on the dates listed below. There is a 30-minute coffee social before each program for participants to become comfortable and socialize with peers before we begin. Care Partners are welcome to stay and enjoy the Museum after the program or visit the Café for lunch.

January 21 - Surviving Life in the Arctic
February 18 - NO PROGRAM due to MPM’s Food & Froth 
March 18 - Decorative Arts from China
April 15 - Special Exhibit Tour of  Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed
May 20 - Native American History of the Blackfoot Village

Space is limited and reservations are required 3 days in advance by calling 414-278-2714.
 

Groups & Care Partners

These programs are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. and are offered to groups. The facility must provide enough staff to assist all attendees. A limited number of wheelchairs are available to use free of charge. Groups check-in at the ticket window to obtain wristbands and check coats if needed. We encourage attendees to wear nametags if possible (first names only). Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
