Event Details
  •  Unearthing fossils is no easy task, so paleontologists need a variety of tools to get the job done.  Some of these you might expect... and some you might not.  Learn about the important tools that help paleontologists work.
  • Decorate your own dino crown to wear and take home with you!
  • Did you ever wonder how dinosaurs got their names? Learn about the system scientists use to name animal and plant species.  After that, think like a Paleontologist and create a name for your own dino.
  • Paleontologists often need to make quick and accurate identifications out in the field. Join a Museum educator to see if you can correctly identify what is a fossil and what is not.  Are you up to the challenge?
