Construction is finishing up and the Streets of Old Milwaukee will be opening on Friday, December 11. In the meantime, Granny’s hitting the streets and visiting some of her favorite Streets’ shops in present-day Milwaukee.

Guests will have a chance to explore our traveling exhibit- Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture and learn more about our unique relationship with food. Fun, interactive activities such as food science experiments, learning how different cultures celebrate with food, and much, much more will be available for guests.
Discover the unknown stories and facts about our state that you never knew! Explore our newest temporary exhibit and spark your curiosity about things that don't always come to mind when you think of Wisconsin. Explore all things Badger state, learn secrets about Wisconsin's natural and cultural history, and participate in Wisconsin themed activities.
All overnights also include a self-guided flashlight tour of the third floor and movie in the Dome Theater.

Top Milwaukee area chefs exhibit their most creative culinary skills during this one-of-a-kind progressive dinner event. Each chef designs a dinner course inspired by a diorama of their choice, and guests progress throughout our exhibit halls on a decadent journey from hors d’oeuvres, to salad, to entrée, to dessert, with each course paired with an outstanding wine.

What is it?
A pop-up museum is a small, temporary exhibit outside the walls of MPM. Each time we pop-up we choose a new theme and ask you, our community, to showcase your objects and stories that fit that theme.
We’re exploring the space where science and culture intersect, and we’re doing it over drinks.
This evening social lecture series features some of the best minds in science. From the sensation of being hugged by an octopus to quantum mechanics, Science on Tap looks to answer questions you never knew you had!
Herbs are always in abundance in our kitchen, backyard, and community gardens. Often, we end up never using a great portion of the herbs we grow. Join Venice Williams of Alice's Garden in the Demonstration Kitchen to learn some easy and creative ways for preserving herbs.
