Enjoy the delicious Indigenous cuisine of Ketapanen Kitchen, Chicago's first Native American pop-up kitchen and catering company. Executive chef Jessica Walks First (Pamonicutt) of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin recently appeared on Bravo’s latest season of Top Chef, filmed in Milwaukee, as a guest judge for the “Indigenous Foods” episode.
The event will include remarks from Jessica Walks First as well as Milwaukee Public Museum’s Manager of Tribal Relations, James Flores of the Oneida Nation, and an opening and closing by Ho-Chunk drum group Little Priest.
"Our work at Ketapanen Kitchen is so much more than catering. It's about feeding the spirit of our communities, a way of caring for others while sharing our culture." -Jessica Walks First (Pamonicutt), Executive Chef of Ketapanen Kitchen
