The new building will feature the state-of-the-art Daniel M. Soref Planetarium.

    Located on the first level, the Planetarium will continue to offer stargazing and other astronomy-related shows and programs, as well as Giant Films.

  • New Look

    The current Planetarium has movie theater-style seating. The new Planetarium will have a flat floor with seats that are reclined and can be removed.

New Opportunities

This new planetarium design makes it more flexible for special events—from private dinners to yoga classes, live music concerts, and even laser shows!
