MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MUSEUM TO HOST VIRTUAL TOWN HALL ABOUT THE FUTURE MUSEUM

Leadership to present on project progress, answer community questions

MILWAUKEE — On Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Milwaukee Public Museum (MPM)
will host a virtual Town Hall to discuss updates about the Future Museum, preview results from the
recent public survey on Future Museum exhibits and interior spaces and answer questions from the
community.

The Town Hall will be facilitated on Zoom by Dr. Ellen Censky, MPM President & CEO, and Katie
Sanders, MPM Chief Planning Officer.

“Input from our visitors and community members has been a critical component in the Future Museum
planning process as we envision a new space that sparks curiosity and facilitates a valuable museum
experience,” said Censky. “The Town Hall will provide the public with an overview of our progress, an
opportunity to pose questions and weigh in on the project’s next steps and a reason to get excited for
what’s ahead.”

Registration to attend the Town Hall can be completed here:

A link to the Zoom meeting will be available upon registration. Questions can be submitted ahead of time

Groundbreaking for the Future Museum is slated for late 2023, with Mortenson and ALLCON overseeing
construction, and the Museum is due to open in 2026. MPM’s current home will remain open until the
new space is finished. Learn more about the Future Museum at www.mpm.edu/future.
