Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee and home to a 212-seat lecture hall, three floors of iconic exhibits, and meeting spaces like the Bert L. and Patricia S. Steigleder Special Exhibits Gallery, the Milwaukee Public Museum can comfortably accommodate up to 3,500 guests.
Built-in entertainment and on-site coordination services maximize this venue's value. The Museum's unique add-on experiences include special screenings in the Daniel M. Soref Dome Theater and Planetarium, docent-guided tours, period-costumed exhibit interpreters, scavenger hunts, special exhibitions, and more.
Featuring more than five separate meeting and auditorium spaces ranging in size and capability, the Museum can host large group sessions, breakout spaces, lectures, team-building activities, breakfast, lunch, and an evening reception – all under one roof. Our largest flexible event space, the versatile 12,000-sq. ft. Steigleder Gallery, even offers an interchangeable wall system for custom event, conference, and convention set-ups.
